England vs Australia 4th Test, Day 1: England lead by 214 runs

The first day of the 4th Test match of the Ashes, 2015 series was as excited as it could be. Team Australia, while playing first could only score 60 runs and lost all its wickets. Stuart Broad took 8 wickets for England and gave only 15 runs in 9.3 overs. England in its first innings have already scored 274 runs by the end of first day and is leading by 214 runs.

The 4th match of the Ashes, 2015 Test series between Australia and England started on Thursday, Aug 06 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. England won the toss and invited Australia to bat first and sent them back soon after. Australia team scored only 60 runs in 18.3 overs and lost all 10 wickets. Mitchell Johnson (13) remained the highest scorer for Australia.

After bowling out Australian team for 60 runs, England took charge with the bat. With the help of Joe Root's ton and Jonathan Bairstow's 74 runs innings, England has scored 274 runs in 65 overs on day 1 of its first innings. Joe Root (124) and Mark Wood (2) are at crease. Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets for Australia.
