Openers couldn't do well for the scorecard, but captain Elton Chigumbura, who came at fourth place, scored a 100 and remained not out, but even his century couldn't help Zimbabwe reaching the target. In the last over, they needed 10 runs, but could only made 5.
Stuart Binny and Axar Patel each took 2 wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni and Harbhajan Singh managed to get 1 wicket each. India won the match by 4 runs.
